Bhubaneswar: The Jharsuguda Unit of Vedanta Ltd. has won three first prizes at the prestigious Greentech Awards 2020, for exemplary efforts in safety, sustainability and Covid-19 initiatives. Instituted by the Greentech Foundation, Greentech Awards witnessed participation across various critical industry sectors.
The company won Annual Greentech Safety Award 2020 for outstanding achievements in ‘Industry Sector Safety Excellence’; Annual Greentech Sustainability Award 2020 for outstanding achievements in ‘Good Health and Well Being’; and Greentech Corona Warrior Award 2020 for outstanding achievements in ‘Corona Protection Initiatives’.
These awards were presented during the Greentech’s safety, sustainability and corona warrior summits, respectively, held recently at Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu.
